Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra is a Brandy Solera Gran Reserva, the flagship of the winery with an average age of 50 years.

The history of Cardenal Mendoza Non Plus Ultra, the winery's oldest brandy, began in 1971. Ten years before the Bicentenary, which was to take place in 1981, 38 butts of the most exclusive and highest quality brandy were reserved to commemorate Sánchez Romate's anniversary.

After several decades of ageing, the inimitable result is Non Plus Ultra, a brandy that evokes the more than two centuries of experience of Bodegas Sánchez Romate.
