80% Palomino Fina & 20% Pedro Ximenez
Oloroso Medium San Rafael is an oloroso wine elaborated by Bodegas Barbadillo in the D.O. Jerez - Xérès - Sherry.
A light touch of Pedro Ximénez to a dry oloroso produces this type called Amoroso, a name that honours the smoothness obtained in a long ageing process, by the traditional system of "Clases".
Drink at room temperature. Its alcohol and body allow it to be drunk on the rocks.
It goes very well with aperitifs, desserts and mid-morning.
Old wines of oxidative ageing, such as this one, can remain in perfect organoleptic condition once bottled for many years, even if the bottle has been opened beforehand.
TASTING NOTES
Mahogany colour and full of nuances
Intense nose, elegant and seductive.
In the mouth it is round and sweet without being cloying.
