Protos Gran Reserva 2015 is a red wine from the Ribera del Duero appellation in Spain. Made from Tempranillo grapes, it is a high-end wine aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels and another 36 months in bottle before its release to the market. It is an elegant and complex wine, with notes of ripe fruit, spices, leather and tobacco. The palate is powerful, with firm, round tannins and a long, lingering finish. It is ideal for pairing with red meats and hearty dishes.
