ALMAZCARA MAJARA

In 2002 Javier Alvarez came up with the idea of creating this winery in the DO Bierzo under some requirements, create a wine for maximum enjoyment, enhance the Bierzo and have a great time with a project that falls in love. Together with his childhood friend Manuel Benito Otero and his friend Raul García, the winery Almázcara Majara was born, a name that comes from the village where the winery is located, from where Javier Álvarez's family is from and from the first letters of the names of the partners Ma-Ja-Ra.
