This limited edition commemorates the 55th anniversary of Diamonds Are Forever, the title given in Spain to the film starring Sean Connery—another illustrious Scot—the seventh installment in the saga of the world's most seductive and sophisticated secret agent.

For its creation, master distiller and great admirer of 007, Russell Greig, set out to create a whisky, distilled in 2007, that would reflect the film's narrative arc. It evokes Bond'staste and knowledge of both red wine and sherry through the use of oak casks that once held both liquids for its aging.

The result is a complex 18-year-old single malt with dazzling depth and character. As is customary with The Macallan, this wine also stands out for its presentation in a cylindrical case that offers a glimpse into the film's creative process behind the scenes, visually representing concepts such as clones, laser beams, the villain's white cat, and his Las Vegas lair. The film's title sequence also inspired the color palette of this limited and exclusive edition. A true treasure, a must-have for collectors and fans of The Macallan and James Bond.

Nose

It surprises with its elegance and rich nuances, forged by notes of dried fruit, vanilla bean, chocolate, and spices on a well-polished oak background.

Palate

Complex and profound with soft hints of caramel, truffle, cocoa, fruit, and nutmeg. The whole culminates in a long and refined finish, with a characteristic and delicious touch of sherry.omb, sweet toffee, red apple, ripe fig, and vanilla.

Palate:

A smooth combination of cinnamon, ginger, Madagascar vanilla, dried fruits, and oak.

Appearance:

Long and warm, with lingering notes of sweet oak, soft spices, and toffee.
