Basa 2023

Basa is a white wine produced in the Rueda region of Castilla y León in northern Spain. It is made by the Telmo Rodriguez winery, known for its focus on quality and authenticity in winemaking.

This wine is characterized by its freshness and youth. It has a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. On the nose, it presents intense and expressive aromas of white and citrus fruits, such as pear, green apple, lemon and grapefruit, accompanied by herbaceous and floral notes.

On the palate, Basa is dry and vibrant, with a balanced acidity that gives it freshness and liveliness. It can have flavors of fresh fruit, citrus and herbs, with a clean and persistent finish. It is a light, easy-drinking wine, ideal to enjoy as an aperitif or to pair with seafood, fish, salads and Mediterranean cuisine.

Basa is made mainly with the Verdejo grape variety, which is typical of the Rueda region and is characterized by its aromatic and fresh profile. It can be consumed young, to enjoy its freshness and liveliness, or it can also be cellared for some time to develop greater complexity in aromas and flavors.
