BOSQUE DE MATASNOS 2019

The high level of self-importance means that wines from Bosque de Matasnos don't come out every year. Only particularly high-quality vintages are used to produce wines like this Tempranillo and Malbec red, the first in the history of Ribera del Duero made with both varieties. A unique blend in the region, intensely fruity, fresh, and with fine, elegant tannins, perfectly reflecting its high-altitude origins.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance

Intense cherry red with a very high, deep layer.

Nose

Intense notes of red and black fruit with a floral violet finish. Balsamic and sweet spices from carefully aged wines (tobacco, incense, and fine vanilla) stand out.

Palm

A fresh wine with a slightly sweet entry due to its fine, elegant tannins. The red and black fruit reappear, along with notes of blue flowers. A long, spicy, and sweet aftertaste.
