Château Angélus 2018 "Le Phénix"

Château Angélus 2018 "Le Phénix" was conceived in a year with very bad forecasts, as the weather conditions did not seem to be favourable. It was a surprise to discover, however, that the conditions were glorious and allowed the grapes to ripen without being scorched by the sun.  And like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, 2018 produced a harvest as improbable as it was generous and magnificent.

To celebrate these moments when nature takes a surprising path, all the bottles of this vintage have been marked with the figure of the legendary bird that signifies eternity.

The persistent finish is backed by the elegance of the Cabernet Franc and the purity of the fruit, intermingled with delicate hints of spice.

The tannins and oak are perfectly integrated.
