Cune Crianza 2020 is a crianza red wine produced by the renowned Spanish winery CVNE (Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España), which is located in the region of La Rioja, one of the most outstanding wine regions in Spain.
Cune Crianza 2019 is made from Tempranillo, Garnacha and Mazuelo grapes grown in the winery's own vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo a careful vinification process to obtain a high quality wine.
This wine has a bright cherry red color, with violet hues on the rim, denoting its youth. On the nose, it offers a medium-high aromatic intensity, with notes of ripe red and black fruits, such as cherries, plums and blackberries, along with subtle hints of spices and vanilla from its aging in oak barrels.
On the palate, the 2019 Cune Crianza is a balanced and round wine, with soft, well-integrated tannins. It is a medium-bodied wine, with fresh acidity that brings liveliness, and a lingering finish with fruity and spicy notes.
This wine has spent 12 months in American and French oak barrels, which gives it complexity and elegance, but without dominating its fruity and fresh character. It is considered a crianza wine, which means that it has been aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle before release, which gives it greater complexity and structure.
