Louis Moreau 2022 chardonnay shows a unique typicity brought by the rich singularity of the limestone, clay and fossil soils where its vines of origin grow, located in the A.O.C. Chablis, emblematic production area of Burgundy. Since its foundation in 1904, Louis Moreau has been one of the reference wineries in Chablis. Managed by the sixth generation of the Moreau family, the firm has 65 hectares of chardonnay vineyards spread over the best terroirs of the appellation. Louis Moreau 2022 represents finesse and freshness, the product of the conjunction of those soils of singular composition and a careful vinification, which included a complete fermentation in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and a subsequent aging on lees for at least 4 months. The result is a fruity, lively, elegant and balanced white wine that is ideal as an accompaniment, especially with fish dishes such as smoked salmon or steamed cod.
