Viña Sastre Roble 2022

Viña Sastre Roble is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Bodegas Hnos Sastre. This wine is a single varietal Tempranillo.

The grapes are harvested from the La Horra and Roa vineyards, located at an altitude of 800 meters on the slopes of the Duero River. The age of the vines varies between 17 and 30 years.

The characteristics of this wine are due to the continental climate of the area, which can reach over 40ºC in summer and drop to -15ºC in winter.

No herbicides, insecticides or mineral fertilizers are used in the vineyards. On the contrary, it is an artisanal cultivation.

Before bottling, the wine is aged for 10 months in new French and American oak barrels.

Bodegas Hnos Sastre is based on a very clear philosophy. As they themselves say, it is "to produce a limited production with unlimited pampering. It is pampering for the sake of pampering".
