WALTRAUD 2025

Torres Waltraud 2025 is a white wine from the Penedès D.O. produced by Torres. This wine is a single-varietal Riesling.

Torres Waltraud is made from the best Riesling harvests, one of the most aromatic varieties that develops elegant and very fruity wines—like this one.

After arriving at the winery, the grapes undergo an initial fermentation process. The Torres Waltraud must is vinified in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of less than 20°C.

Torres Waltraud is a wine dedicated to Miguel Torres's wife, Waltraud Maczassek. The wine variety, Riesling, comes from Germany, although it has adapted perfectly to the Penedès region: exactly like Waltraud Maczassek.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance:

Pale yellow, bright, clean, with greenish hues according to some sources.

Nose:

Floral aromas of orange blossom and jasmine, citrus (lemon, mandarin), stone fruit (peach, apricot), and fresh pineapple; notes of honey, gingerbread, quince, and Mediterranean forest also appear.

Taste:

Silky, fresh, lively, and expressive, with balanced acidity that provides liveliness; a long, elegant finish, sometimes with sweet or gingerbread nuances.
