GLENMORANGIE GRAND VINTAGE 1997

The Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1997 is an exceptional limited edition whisky from the Scottish distillery Glenmorangie's Bond House No. 1 collection. This single malt whisky has been matured for 10 years in bourbon casks and then finished for 13 years in rare red wine casks from Château Montrose, a winery in the Saint-Estèphe region of Bordeaux. This unique maturation process gives it exceptional complexity and depth.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance:

Deep ochre.

Nose:

Perfumed and fruity complexity. Floral notes of rose, jasmine, and carnation intertwine with soft red berries, mint toffee, cake batter, and a sweet confectionery note. With water, softer floral notes of rose and carnation emerge, with a subtle touch of spice such as sweet chili, clove, and ginger.

Palm:

A slightly spicy sensation on the palate followed by a symphony of sweet and fruity flavors. Soft red fruits, pineapple chunks, and a flavor reminiscent of pears and mandarin segments in fruit jelly. Sweet notes of ginger and chili, almond marzipan, and apple with vanilla toffee.
