DAVID LECLAPART L'AMATEUR BRUT 2022

A unique cuvée crafted by David Léclapart—a true natural winemaker from the Montagne de Reims—using 100% Chardonnay grapes from Premier Cru vineyards in Trépail, cultivated according to biodynamic principles. The champagne is vinified with minimal intervention, without malolactic fermentation or filtration, and with a very low dosage (Extra Brut or Brut Nature), preserving the purest expression of the solid, chalky terroir.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance

Bright straw yellow color with golden reflections. Very fine and persistent, widely integrated perlage, providing a sensation of visual elegance and refined texture in the glass.

Nose

Fresh aromas of green apple and pear, combined with floral hints of white flowers, citrus fruits, and light notes of dried fruit or soft caramel. Mineral undertones reminiscent of wet stone or chalk are also perceived, along with subtle brioche nuances.

Palate

Vibrant and direct onset, with lively acidity that provides tension and structure. The texture is silky, light, yet full-bodied, with flavors of white fruit (apple, apricot), citrus, and a very defined mineral center. The finish is long, saline, and fresh, leaving a sensation of purity and remarkable verticality.
