LOUIS LATOUR
The Louis Latour estate extends over 48 hectares, where we find from the red Grands Crus of the "Côte de Nuits" to the white Grands Crus of the "Côte de Beaune".
Burgundy offers a diversity of terroirs unique in the world where a single-varietal cultivation can offer us a vast aromatic palette as vast as the number of its plots. In Burgundy, the reds are sourced from Pinot Noir and the whites from the noble Chardonnay grape variety for the most part.
The heart of the house lies in Aloxe-Corton, where its 33 hectares of vineyards dominate the magnificent Corton Grancey cellar. Built in 1834 and revolutionary for its time, it is a prodigious work of ingenuity to this day. Its five levels allow vinification by gravity and its cellars carved into the rock of Corton "Perrières" guarantee regular ageing conditions. The Grand Cru "Château Corton Grancey", produced only in the best years, is the standard-bearer of this unbeatable history.
