La Trucha & Finca Garabelos
Notas Frutales de Albariño is located in Condado de Tea, under the DO Rías Baixas. They have 13 hectares of their own vineyards, planted at an altitude of 200-350 m., on the right bank of the river Miño. The vineyards have an average age of 25 years, being more than 45 years old in some of our estates.
The winery produces only two ranges of wines: La Trucha, the name is a tribute to the fish that José used to fish with his father and grandfather in the river Miño when he was a child; and Finca Garabelos, named after the family home that has always belonged to José's ancestors.
