AALTO 2021 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Aalto in the Ribera del Duero DO.
The AALTO project was born from the hand of Mariano Garcia, who was responsible for Vega Sicilia wines for 30 years, and Javier Zaccagnini, former director of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero. Both joined forces to create an excellent wine, with multiple awards, recognized as one of the best wines of Spain.
Aalto is the result of an extremely meticulous selection of grapes and a respectful treatment of the raw material. It is a high quality wine that is offered every year, except in those vintages in which the ripening conditions that we demand are not reached, which could happen once every 10 years. It is aged for around 16-20 months in oak barrels, 50% in new French oak barrels and the other 50% in one to three year old French and American oak barrels.
In short, a good wine to show off at a good table.
