AALTO PS 2020 Magnum

AALTO PS 2020 is a red wine produced by Bodegas Aalto in the D.O. Ribera del Duero The AALTO project was born from the hand of Mariano Garcia, was responsible for 30 years of Vega Sicilia wines, and Javier Zaccagnini, was director of the Regulatory Council of the Designation of Origin Ribera del Duero. Both joined forces to create an excellent wine, with multiple awards, recognized as one of the best wines of Spain.

Aalto PS is a single varietal Tinto Fino, from very old vines - aged between 60 and 90 years - from singular vineyards in La Horra and La Aguilera. As always, we harvest by hand in small boxes of 15 kilos and inspect thoroughly, cluster by cluster, on the selection table.

Rigorous selection, old vineyards in expert hands, manual harvesting, indigenous yeasts, fermentation in steel and in vats and malolactic fermentation in barrels. However, that says nothing.

Only a glass in the hand and the restful tasting gives the measure of its enormity. Complex, full and round.
