TASTING NOTES

Appearance

Bright cherry red with garnet hues. It is clean, with a good layer, with lively reflections that denote youth, but well integrated with its aging in oak.

Nose

Varietal aromas of ripe red fruit: cherry, raspberry, perhaps a hint of plum. There are also spicy notes (vanilla, cinnamon), and light toasted notes and hints of pastries or wood, provided by the aging in French and American oak barrels. There is a balanced combination of fresh fruit and wood.

Palm

Smooth and pleasant entry. On the palate, it has a medium-full body, with rounded but present tannins (sweet/tancic) without being aggressive. Balanced between acidity (which provides freshness), the red fruit that remains present, and the wood, which provides warm notes. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a hint of fruit, soft spices, and a hint of toast.
