TASTING NOTES
Appearance:
Deep, very opaque color, likely dark cherry red tones, with violet or even almost blackish hues, especially when the wine has aged well.
Nose:
Ripe black fruit: blackberries, plums, blackcurrants, perhaps a hint of compote, candied black fruit.
Spicy notes: black pepper, cocoa, or chocolate, with a hint of vanilla if aged in oak.
Palm:
Powerful structure: Petit Verdot tends to produce full-bodied wines with firm tannins and good acidity.
