To obtain the Azpilicueta Crianza wine, 85% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo (Cariñena) grapes are used. This wine has been aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, with American oak dominating over French oak. It completes its aging for a minimum period of 6 months in bottle.

TASTING NOTE
View
Intense cherry red color, bright, clean, with golden glints
Nose
Ripe, perfumed red fruit, well balanced with fine oak aging. Toasted notes are distinguished: vanilla, coconut and mild spices; also light hints of tobacco or licorice that add complexity.
Palate
Smooth and balanced entry, with medium body and ripe tannins that make it friendly. Fresh fruit and sweet flavors, combined with vanilla, cinnamon and spices. Light acidity that adds freshness and maintains persistence without astringency.
