Located in the centre of Burgundy, in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation together with Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet constitute the prestigious "Côte des blancs". Morgeot includes several "climbs" near the Morgeot Abbey, south of the village. In the Middle Ages, these lands belonged to the Maizières Abbey, which cleared the land to plant vines and build the buildings necessary for wine production. It can be said that Morgeot is to the Côte de Beaune what Clos-de-Vougeot is to the Côte de Nuits. The second peculiarity of this vineyard is that it is planted with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir varieties.
Fermentation between 6 weeks and 2 months in oak barrels (75% new). Aged between 14 and 16 months in 100% new oak barrels between 30 and 50%.

TASTING NOTES
Very fine and mineral on the nose, this wine develops aromas of green tea and citrus, which with aging will evolve into notes of nuts and rare spices. Very intense, full-bodied and well-structured with soft tannins that provide a good overall balance. Long and persistent finish.
PAIRING: Ideal with fish, seafood, white meats, poultry in sauce and aged cheeses.
