CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET DOMAINE BACHEY-LEGROS 2024

Chassagne-Montrachet is located south of Puligny-Montrachet, in Côte de Beaune, one of Burgundy's most important white wine appellations. "Cailleret" is considered one of the best Premier Cru vineyards in Chassagne-Montrachet.

TASTING NOTES

Colour:

Pale yellow with greenish or light golden highlights.

Nose:

It opens with white flowers (acacia, honeysuckle), citrus notes (lemon, mandarin or lime), stone fruit (white peach, apricot), a hint of walnut or hazelnut, and a delicate presence of toasted oak or fine oak.
Palate:

Balanced between freshness and volume. Creamy/moderate texture, good body, with notes of white and yellow fruit, candied citrus, fresh almond/noisette, and pronounced minerality (fine salinity, hot stone). Long, elegant finish, marked by salinity and mineral nuances.
