This is Château Figeac's first vintage as a Premier Grand Cru Classé A of Saint-Émilion, an achievement that recognizes the winery's expertise and the excellence of its terroir of origin, one of the most privileged in the area. Due to the extreme climatic conditions marked by high temperatures, 2022 proved to be a "challenging" vintage. "We were impressed by the resilience of the vines, which gave us the material to produce an exceptional Château-Figeac, in which the identity and strengths of its terroir are fully expressed," the winery notes.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance:
Deep ruby red color with violet reflections, bright and attractive.
Nose:
Complex and elegant aromas that combine ripe black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant with floral notes of iris and peony. Hints of cedar, tobacco, chocolate, and sweet spices are also perceived, providing great depth and sophistication.
Palate:
The palate is powerful and structured, with fine, well-integrated tannins. It has a balanced acidity that provides freshness and longevity. The fruity flavors linger, accompanied by a mineral touch and a long, lingering finish that invites continued enjoyment.
