Cortijo los Aguilares is a red wine elaborated in the D.O. Sierras de Málaga by the winery Cortijo de los Aguilares, in Ronda. Cortijo los Aguilares is a holm oak forest of 800 hectares, with 19 hectares of vineyard, planted in 1999, distributed in three plots with clay-limestone soils at an altitude of more than 900 meters above sea level.
The work in the vineyard is carried out according to the parameters of integrated viticulture, with the utmost respect for the environment, avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides.
It is a young winery that seeks to define in its wines the maximum expression of the terroir.
Cortijo los Aguilares Tinto is a wine made with Tempranillo, Syrah and Grenache from vineyards at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level on clay-limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand and once in the winery fermented in stainless steel tanks with a part of the clusters with the stems.
