TASTING NOTES
This wine was aged in oak barrels for 24 months. The first 12 months the varietals were aged separately, then the blend was blended and placed in the same barrels for another 12 months.
During this second stage, the fine lees were kept in suspension by batonage.
Intense ruby red color, with purple hues. Very intense aroma of red fruits (plums, cherries, strawberries), accompanied by vanilla, bitter cocoa and spices from the new oak. On the palate, it is a full-bodied, fruity and complex wine. Its structure and thorough winemaking care ensure long aging while preserving its attractive characteristics.
PAIRING: Grilled and baked beef, game (deer, venison), roasted poultry (partridge), highly seasoned meat dishes, herb-crusted pork loin with Dauphine potatoes.
