RODA CIRSION 2020

Cirsión is one of Roda's most exclusive wines. Made with Tempranillo and Graciano, with a very moderate production, it is the house wine most highly rated by specialized critics. Its profile is intense and complex, with notes of wet earth, smoke, spices, red and black fruits, and flowers on the nose, and a very long and refined mid-palate.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance

Very intense color, enormously deep and almost impenetrable. Red flashes with cherry tones project from the background.

Nose

Very complex, formed by a thousand almost indecipherable layers, all captivating. There is a light smoky veil, a faint incense of the finest woods and the finest spices. Blackness in the fruits with hints of red. Damp earth and rain on the soil. Ripe fruits return in full splendor. A box of fresh spices, cocoa, tobacco, and a landscape of violets in the background.

Palate

Voluminous, fresh, long, and endless. Flavors of red fruits with very fresh red highlights. Incredible tannins in such a young wine. Intensity and delicacy, endless freshness, silky and lively, full and caressing. The cocoa is seasoned with a very delicate black fruit liqueur and notes of pink pepper.
