The Katherine Sierra Verdejo Barrica Acacia 2018 is a white wine aged in acacia barrels that give it additional complexity. It has a bright golden yellow color and intense aromas of ripe fruits such as green apple, citrus and subtle notes of aromatic herbs, along with a spicy touch of wood. In the mouth it is structured, with refreshing acidity and a long and elegant finish. Ideal to accompany fish, seafood or cured cheese dishes.

TASTING NOTES:
View
Straw yellow color with greenish edges and tones, typical of the Verdejo variety, whose color has not evolved in barrels. Crystalline, elegant. She dances in the glass with a certain smoothness and finesse, showing her fine and slender legs in the glass.
Nose
It has a medium-high intensity, clean aromas, typical of the Verdejo variety. Herbaceous and balsamic presence such as fennel, fresh hay, freshly cut grass, palulú, dill, pine resin, eucalyptus and white flowers. Citrus that reminds us of red grapefruit and lime. Fruits such as the Roma pear, medlars, Cantelús melon and Claudia plum. Mineral, due to its soils full of boulders and sandy soils. Light and subtle smoky tones, hints of cedar, a pack of blonde tobacco. We discover fine aromas from the barrel, such as decaffeinated milk, crème anglaise, tin of butter cookies, cinnamon and nuts such as hazelnuts and almond peel.
Mouth
In the mouth it is voluminous, fleshy. With a balanced acidity. It fills the walls of our mouth with ripe white fruits, coconut, smokiness, minerality and fine pastry aromas, where we find white chocolates and Italian vanilla. Flavors of smoked, ash and cigar smoke. In retronasal it is persistent, with the aromas that it showed us in the olfactory phase being present. It continually invites us to drink and we discover that this wine will show us its long journey and its maximum expression as the months go by.
