There are wineries that, due to their presence, quality and history, need no introduction. With this desire to distinguish the most prestigious family wineries in the world is created Primum Familiae Vini (PFV), an association that welcomes the 12 most important wine sagas in the world, including the British Symington Family Estates, the Spanish Vega Sicilia and Bodegas Torres, the Italian Marchesi Antinori and Tenuta San Guido or the French Château Mouton Rothschild and Famille Perin. The latter has its origins in 1909 when Pierre Tramier acquired an emblematic architectural complex in the commune of Châteauneuf du Pape. Since then, five generations have worked to maintain the tradition and values that accompany the wine culture. A work philosophy that has taken them to the top and has allowed them to make their way to other appellations such as Côtes de Provence (Château Miraval), Côtes du Rhône (Famille Perrin-Les Crus), Gigondas (Domaine du Clos des Tourelles), Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph (Domaine & Maison Les Alexandrins) and Ventoux (La La Vieille Ferme). The latter, La Vieille Ferme, was born from the Perrin's quest to find the most suitable terroirs for the production of fruity and gourmet wines. Something they found in a quiet and sunny region in the southern Rhone Valley (France) and which they demonstrate with La Vieille Ferme Rosé.
