El Marqués de Murrieta Reserva 2020 Magnum is a red wine made from a blend of Tempranillo (90%), Garnacha Tinta (3%), Mazuelo (4%), and Graciano (4%) grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located on the Ygay estate, in the Rioja Alta subregion, at altitudes between 320 and 485 meters above sea level. After manual harvesting, the grapes ferment separately in stainless steel tanks and remain in vats for 8-10 days. The wine is then pressed in vertical presses to further extract color and ripe tannins. It is aged for 21 months in American oak barrels.
