Formerly owned by the monks of the Abbey of Pontigny, the Monopole du Domaine Long-Depaquit “Moutonne” is a plot sheltered in a natural amphitheater in the heart of the Grand Crus, the historic part of the Chablis vineyards dating back more than a thousand years. years.
Located in both “Vaudésir” (95%) and “Preuses” (5%), this south/southeast facing plot, with its ideal location and shape, allows it to catch all the sun's rays. The steep slope (almost 40%) in the central part of the plot protects the vines from the north winds. Crossed by a wall, the lower part of the plot produces rich and structured wines, while the grapes coming from the upper part give the blend its floral and tense aspect.

TASTING NOTES
Nose: complex, combining notes of white and yellow-fleshed fruits, citrus and delicate floral aromas. The palate is full and generous, marked by minerality due to the marl found in this micro terroir.
MOUTH: This wine has a pleasant freshness, a light touch of well-integrated oak and exceptional length on the palate.
FOOD PAIRING: Try this wine with finely prepared fish and crustaceans (lobster, rock lobster...), or with roasted or stewed poultry and white meats
