Oremus Tokaji Aszú 2017 - 3 Puttonyos is an exceptional sweet wine produced by the renowned Oremus winery in the Tokaj wine region of Hungary. It is a wine that stands out for its richness, complexity and unique expression of the Furmint grape variety.
Tokaji Aszú is a style of sweet wine emblematic of the Tokaj region. It is made using grapes affected by botrytis cinerea, also known as "noble rot". These grapes are harvested by hand in multiple passes, selecting the berries affected by botrytis to obtain the concentration and sweetness characteristic of this type of wine.
The "3 Puttonyos" classification refers to the number of puttonyos (special containers) of aszú grapes added to the base must during vinification. The greater the number of puttonyos, the higher the residual sugar concentration and the greater the intensity of the wine.
Oremus Tokaji Aszú 2017 - 3 Puttonyos is characterized by its balance between sweetness and acidity. It has a bright golden color and a seductive viscosity in the glass. On the nose, it displays a wide range of tropical fruit aromas, such as apricots, mango and pineapple, combined with notes of honey, caramel and spices.
