SANTENAY BLANC ALBERT BICHOT 2023

Albert Bichot's Santenay Blanc comes from the southern part of the Côte de Beaune, from vineyards planted on calcareous and marly soils. The Chardonnay grapes are hand-picked, barrel-fermented (15-20% new), and aged on lees for 14 to 16 months.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance:

Light yellow with bright golden hues, indicative of a rich yet fresh aging.

Nose:

White flowers (acacia, iris), citrus fruits (lemon, light hints of candied pineapple), and soft exotic notes.

Palm:

Vibrant entry with good acidity and a fresh sensation, ripe fruit flavors (apple, pear, candied pineapple), rich and creamy texture, with notable minerality and salinity that provide energy. Hazelnut and soft spices (gingerbread) are present.
