Selección de Familia by Valeria Fernández comes from a vineyard planted in 1962 in a 3 by 3 bush vineyard with gravelly soil and pebbles at an altitude of 730 metres. Hand-picked, spontaneous fermentation in 225-litre barrels that are over 3 years old, aged for around 60 months in barrels, then refined in the bottle for at least another 5 years before being released onto the market.
