Valdesil is a tribute to the river Sil, the backbone of Galicia, which forms a narrow valley as it passes through Valdeorras.
A pioneering and revolutionary wine in Spain, as it is the first white wine aged on its lees in tanks.
It is made exclusively with grapes from vineyards owned by the family, located in the parishes of Portela (San Xulián) and Córgomo (Sta Marta), in the municipality of Vilamartín de Valdeorras.
The vineyards are managed according to the circadian rhythms of the plants, and a vegetation cover is maintained throughout the year, keeping the soil alive. The rock is schist, giving the wine a muscular minerality, which guarantees a long life.
