The base wine undergoes a first fermentation and is aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
It is then bottled for the second fermentation and remains on its lees (horizontally) for a very long time: according to Decántalo, 140 months (more than 11 years) for some versions, although other sources mention up to 192 months (16 years) of bottle aging.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance:
Straw yellow color with golden highlights and very fine, persistent bubbles.
Nose:
It has a rich aroma. Notes of ripe stone fruit (such as peach), apple, and hints of pastry, cake, and yeast are perceived. Nuances of nuts (hazelnuts, walnuts) and elegant toasty notes also appear.
Palate:
It is creamy, round, and well-structured. The carbonation is perfectly integrated, providing a soft, mousse-like sensation. There's a good acidity that balances the ripeness of the fruit. The finish is long, ripe, and persistent.
