CLOS MESORAH 2022

ClosMesorah 2022 – Red wine from DO Montsant (Catalonia), organically and kosher produced by Elvi Wines. A blend of 40% Carignan (from century-old vines), 30% Garnacha Tinta, and 30% Syrah, aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. It offers aromatic intensity of ripe red fruits, spices, and herbal touches, with a structured palate, soft tannins, and an elegant and persistent finish. ABV (almost 14.5%)

Appearance

This wine is an intense and bright violet red of medium intensity. It provides visual appeal and reflects depth.

Nose

It expresses an elegant combination of concentrated red fruits, such as plums and berries, along with spicy notes (such as cardamom), balsamic nuances, and subtle aging nuances. The aromatic complexity highlights its elegant oak aging.

Palate

Balanced and fluid on the palate: freshness and smoothness stand out, with silky, well-integrated tannins, a fleshy profile, and a medium to full body. Notes of tobacco, ripe plum, and black fruits emerge. The finish is harmonious, persistent, and with spicy notes.
