Contino Reserva is made from manually selected grapes from various micro-plots in the Viñedos del Contino estate, located in a meander of the Ebro River. After manual harvesting and optical selection, fermentation takes place in small tanks, followed by 18 months of aging in French and American oak barrels. The 2020 vintage stands out for its complexity, with notes of black fruit balanced with oak aging, offering a silky wine with great aging potential.

VINEYARD AND WINEMAKING
After destemming, the grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks of 12,000 liters at a temperature between 28 and 30 °C. After a maceration of 15 to 20 days, malolactic fermentation takes place, which refines the wine, leaving it at the right acidity. It is followed by racking to barrels.
