The DV Aires 2016 is a red wine made from a selection of Petit Verdot (80%) and Garnacha (20%) grapes from the Descalzos Viejos estate, located on the Tajo Valley in Ronda, at an altitude of approximately 650 meters. The estate's soils are stony, limestone, and high in clay, giving the wine a rich minerality. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 16 months of aging in 500-liter French oak barrels, giving it a solid structure and remarkable aromatic complexity.

TASTING NOTES
Appearance:
Bright cherry red color with violet edges, clean and deep.
Nose:
Intense and deep aromas of ripe black fruits such as blackberry and plum, combined with spicy notes of black pepper and balsamic touches. Barrel aging provides nuances of cocoa and fine toasted notes.
Palate:
On the palate, the wine is powerful and fleshy, with firm but well-integrated tannins. It has balanced acidity that gives it freshness and a long, persistent finish, with hints of black fruits and spices.
