MERIDIANO PERDIDO 2023

This is a "vino de pasto" (past wine), a traditional category of whites from Jerez (or its surrounding area). These are albariza whites, not fortified, generally young, not subjected to soleras or criaderas, although they may be aged in casks and a "velo de flor" (flor anointing).

TASTING NOTES

Appearance:

Lemon yellow color with soft golden hues. Thin tears.

Nose:

Fresh aromas with presence of white and stone fruit—nectarine, grapefruit—along with greener citrus fruits. Herbaceous notes and a subtle mineral undertone also emerge; it has a certain complexity thanks to the "velo de flor" (flor anointing) and hints of yeast

Taste:

The palate stands out for its elegant volume, good freshness, well-balanced acidity, marked sapidity, and a salinity that gives it character. A long finish, with hints of nuts, mineral notes, and a refined aftertaste.
