PSI 2021 is a red wine produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Alnardo, a renowned winery located in the Ribera del Duero wine region of Spain. This wine is part of the PSI project, led by winemaker Peter Sisseck, known for his work at the Dominio de Pingus winery. Visually, PSI 2021 has an intense and deep red color, characteristic of Ribera del Duero red wines. On the nose, it displays a remarkable aromatic complexity. Notes of ripe black fruits, such as plums and blackberries, accompanied by subtle hints of spices, such as pepper and clove, can be appreciated. Toasted and smoky aromas can also be present, the result of aging in oak barrels.
On the palate, PSI 2021 offers an elegant and balanced taste experience. It is a structured wine, with soft, well-integrated tannins. Fruit flavors intertwine with spicy notes and hints of dark chocolate, creating a harmony of complex flavors. The wine has a medium to full body and a long, lingering finish.
PSI 2021 is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes. Its elegance and balance make it an excellent choice to pair with red meats, roasts, stews and game dishes. It can also be enjoyed on its own, allowing you to appreciate its full aromatic and gustatory expression.
