Remírez de Ganuza Reserva 2018 is a red wine made from an exhaustive selection of Tempranillo (90%), Graciano (5%), Malvasía (3%) and Viura (2%) grapes. The grapes are harvested by hand and a double selection of clusters is made in the winery. Fermentation is carried out in small stainless steel tanks, using gravity to transfer the must. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels, where it remains for 24 months, with 50% of the barrels being new and the rest second use. The barrel aging gives it complexity and elegance, distinctive characteristics of this wine.

TASTING NOTE
Appearance:
Deep, bright red color, with ruby edges denoting its aging.
Nose:
Lovely, sensual aromatics, with notes of cherries in liqueur, strawberry jam and vanilla aromas from barrel aging.
Palate:
Medium-bodied, with fine, sweet tannins that bring balance. The oak is clearly perceived, but without blurring the purity of the fruit. A flash of orange peel and soy sauce peeks through on the finish, adding complexity to a wine of great elegance.
