RIPPA DORII Geografias Salomón 2023

This single-varietal Tinta del País is everything that Gabriel Pérez, its winemaker, looks for in a good Ribera del Duero. Elegant, silky, with powerful tannins but with a strong emphasis on fruit. Furthermore, the grapes used for its production come from a single plot at over 800 meters above sea level, from which it takes its name.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance

Picota cherry, with youthful notes, bright, with a dense layer and tear.

Nose

Abundant, very ripe black fruit on the nose, along with hints of black olives, tobacco leaves, berries, and very subtle spices and wood from the barrel. Complex and suggestive. Balsaic notes, mineral touches, cassis, and spices emerge.

Palm

Fruity on the palate, with great acidity and very tame, ripe tannins. Excellent balance between fruit and wood. Intense and elegant. Elegant texture and a very special fluidity in the mouth. A very long, very pleasant finish.
