TASTING NOTES
Appearance
Intense cherry color with a garnet rim.
Nose
Dominated by aromas of candied fruit, along with notes of wood and tobacco, and a background of fine spices and chocolate.
Palate
Complex, spicy, with ripe tannins and a very long finish. In short, a wine with great personality, energetic, vibrant, fresh, powerful, and at the same time extremely elegant. "A monumental vintage," in the words of Luis Gutiérrez, critic for 'The Wine Advocate'.
