The Albert Bichot house was founded in 1831 by Bernard Bichot in Monthélie and permanently established in Beaune in 1912. Today, managed by Albéric Bichot, the sixth generation to lead this family business rooted in Burgundy since 1350, it comprises six estates spread across the region, from Chablis to Beaujolais. The vineyard area covers more than 100 hectares, including 13 hectares of Grand Cru and 26 hectares of Premier Cru. A pioneer of organic viticulture, Albert Bichot now offers the largest selection of certified organic wines among the Beaune houses.
