VIÑEDOS VERTICALES

Viñedos Verticales is located in the heart of the Axarquía and the denomination of its wines is D.O. Sierras de Málaga. 

It is the dream come true of two friends: Juan Muñoz, 3rd generation of winegrowers and winemakers in the region, also owner of Bodegas Dimobe, and Vicente Inat, winemaker with experience in different wine regions. In 2015 they began this adventure, together with their families, with the idea of making wines that express the land where they were born.

Their vineyards are in an area very close to the Mediterranean Sea, old vineyards, with steep slopes and soils of schist, phyllite and slate.

The main variety is Moscatel de Alejandría, accompanied by other more minority varieties such as Pero Ximén, Doradilla, Garnacha or Romé. 

The viticulture is still very traditional and in a certain way a little heroic due to the great unevenness of the terrain, with an inseparable link between the land, the vine growers and the mules.
