Tasting notes:
View:
Pale golden in color with bright reflections, this Meursault presents a clean and luminous appearance that invites tasting.
Nose:
On the nose, the wine is fresh and expressive, with an aromatic complexity that combines notes of ripe fruits such as apple and pear, along with subtle citrus hints of lemon. Delicate floral notes of orange blossom and a light touch of vanilla from barrel aging are also perceived. The characteristic Meursault minerality, with hints of limestone, complements the whole, adding depth.
Palate:
On the palate, the Albert Bichot Meursault 2022 is unctuous, with a smooth, creamy texture that unfolds harmoniously. Its acidity is vibrant, perfectly balancing the wine's richness and adding freshness. Ripe fruit flavors combine with elegant minerality and a hint of butter, resulting in a long, lingering finish, with a slight nutty note.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with seafood dishes such as lobster or scallops, grilled fish, foie gras, or even creamy pasta dishes. It is also perfectly enjoyed as an aperitif on special occasions.
