CUCO OLOROSO is an oloroso wine elaborated by Bodegas Barbadillo in the D.O. Jerez - Xérès - Sherry.
Oxidative ageing of 12 years in criaderas and solera system. Old wines of oxidative ageing, such as this one, can remain in perfect organoleptic conditions once bottled for many years, even if the bottle has been opened before.
TASTING NOTES
Mahogany in colour, with hints of noble woods and dried fruits, unctuous and dry on the palate.
FOOD PAIRING
Ideal as an aperitif and to accompany any snack: dried fruits or dried or salted fish: mojama, anchovies, herring... Connoisseurs like to pair it with game dishes, such as stewed partridges, breast of poultry stuffed with foie gras and pine nuts, pigeon with Brussels sprouts, warm partridge salad in pickled sauce, mushrooms. If you prefer red meats, it is a wine that goes perfectly with them, such as: Iberian sirloin steak, beef, veal loin with baked potatoes and vegetable garden grill, duck magret. And if you want a typical dish of our area: stewed oxtail, meatballs in oloroso sauce or the traditional Berza Jerezana.
