OBISPO GASCON is a Palo Cortado wine elaborated by Bodegas Barbadillo in the D.O. Jerez - Xérès - Sherry.
Palo Cortado's are one of the most special wines within the Denomination of Origin Jerez- Xèrés - Sherry.
This is due to the fact that, although its elaboration process is a physical-chemical process of oxidative ageing like an oloroso, the result is not an oloroso, but its organoleptic characteristics place it between an amontillado and an oloroso.
A smooth and persistent wine, pleasant and balanced with notes of nuts and sultanas.
